How Zilean might have used time as a weapon against the all-devouring Void: as the Void consumes anything it touches, these beacons could simply reverse time in that limited area back to what it was before.

I had the chance to contribute some vis dev work for the Icathian region in Shurima for the Runeterra IP, and a breakout of Zilean's tower to coincide with Legends of Runeterra's Shuriman deck. This was the establishing shot and preceding explorations for the tower itself and a solution for how Zilean managed to keep the encroaching Void at bay while the rest of Icathia suffered.

It was a great experience manipulating shapes that still had an allusion to time and space, trying to subvert the popular concepts of 'time' and 'time mage', and tying it in with Shurima's visuals - I envisioned Icathia as a 'visual dialect' of Shurima; distinct but with enough of a visual thread.
