As part of fleshing out the shape language, visual indicators, and look & feel of Mount Targon, these props provided us with a clue to the lifestyle and type of communities that would live around the base of the mountain. I wanted to tell a story through the tools and implements that they would use. I ended up using simple, rustic materials and a lot of rope. Being near great sources of stone, metal, and rock, they would use those materials for both every-day use and for religious uses. Many items were also designed for navigation and portability.
